Tune In: Slow Caves Takeover 94.3 The X at 4 p.m. TODAY

We've made it no secret that we're pretty big fan girls of Fort Collins synth-punk band Slow Caves, and we love it when they come hang out with us in The X studio to argue over which album by The Strokes is the best. It is not Comedown Machine and I'm going to just leave it at that. 

To celebrate today's (April 18) release of their new single, 'Desert Minded,' Slow Caves will be taking over 94.3 The X airwaves to broadcast their playlist of band faves and their new tunes at 6000 watts. Basically, I don't have to do my job for an hour, which is cool I guess. They've got great taste in music so you'll be in good hands, I promise.

The band's full Desert Minded EP will be released on May 24, but you can hear it exclusively on 94.3 The X today at 4 p.m.

In addition to FoCoMX on Friday, April 22, Slow Caves will also be having Desert Minded release shows in Fort Collins, Denver and Greeley. You can follow the band at slowcaves.com.
