Live Music Resumes at the Aggie Theatre Next Week
The NoCo Virus Tracker articles are made possible by our partners, the Keep NoCo Open campaign that reminds citizens to wear a mask, wash your hands, physically distance and support local as Northern Colorado recovers from the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Fort Collins venue's marquee is no longer vacant, with shows resuming Friday, February 26 at the Aggie Theatre.
As Larimer County operates in Level Yellow COVID-19 restrictions, with a Level Up variance, the Aggie Theatre — now one of just two primary local music venues, since Hodi's Half Note permanently closed during the pandemic — will be operating at limited capacity and following safety guidelines. Mandatory face coverings and social distancing through seating can be expected.

The Aggie Theatre had to pull the plug on live music in March of 2020, and was able to reopen under restrictions months later in mid October. In December, the Aggie Theatre said that out of an abundance of caution, it would be closed through January, reopening in February 'following strict local, state, and national health guidelines.'
Throwback: February 29,2020
Local rock group Saints of Never After will be the first to resume live music on February 26. Aggie Theatre fans can also help the venue through its recovery fund.
In addition to Hodi's Half Note, Fort Collins' DIY venue Who Gives a SCRAP and Pinball Jones Campus West also closed last year. They are survived by the Aggie Theatre and Washington's FoCo.
