The Oh Hellos, Pandas & People Coming to the Mishawaka

No venue fits folk better than a concert in a canyon; something unique Northern Colorado has to offer to those who love a good show under the stars. On September 4, the Mishawaka Amphitheatre presents the Lone Star State's folksy sibling duo, The Oh Hellos, with Fort Collins' own, Pandas & People. 

With banjos, mandolins, guitars — and a recent nomination for Westword Magazine's 'Best Folk Band in Colorado' — Joshua Scheer and Johnny Day comprise the up-and-coming ensemble we're proud to claim as Fort Collins rooted. Pandas & People have played numerous shows across the state this summer, most recently NewWestFest, the USA Pro Cycling Challenge in Old Town and Vine's and Hop's Fundraiser for Adopt Colorado Kids.

The band will be opening for The Oh Hellos at the rustic Mishawaka Amphitheatre; a venue which seems to be one of Northern Colorado's hidden gems. Tucked away off Highway 14 on the riverbank of the Poudre Canyon, the roadside lodge cluttered with Harleys may seem reminiscent of a kitschy camp site from your childhood (or maybe that's just me). To musicians who know the area, though, playing the Mish is iconic; a staple for artists who want a true Northern Colorado concert experience.

The Mish recently hosted Lord Huron, and will be wrapping up the outdoor concert season with a sold out Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats show.
