In my line of work I get to go to concerts, meet rock stars, and all around I get paid to have a good time, but there is nothing that I cherish about my job more than making a difference. Once a year I get to do just that with my charity event called Lures 4 Laney. What started as a fishing event, has now evolved into a rock show on September 21st at the Aggie Theatre in Fort Collins.

The event will take place all day at the Aggie and will feature me on the air all day asking for support from Northern Colorado and will also have the best bands Northern Colorado has to offer, and possibly a special guest appearance by a national artist TBD.

All the money raised goes to Childrens Hospital Colorado in the honor of Delaney (Laney) Wadsworth who passed away from a cancerous brain tumor a couple years back. The funds go directly to helping to stop the horrible disease that no child should ever have to face.

Tons of prizes will be for the taking as well as great music to listen to from bands like The Symbols, Shatterproof, Autumn Burn, Immortal Dominion, The Pipin Hot Ghost Peppers, and one of the very best artists you will ever hear, our very own Romero. Plus more bands to be named later.

Lures 4 Laney is all brought to you by the great folks at the Aggie Theatre and presented by Scott Horvath State Farm Insurance in Windsor.
