Band Called Catch @ Heartland Cafe-4
When I come to work everyday it is usually about entertaining, having some fun, and playing some good music. I am honored that I get to do that everyday, but I feel the need to use my voice for more than just fun and games, but also to make a difference. This year I will be broadcasting live September 20th from 5am to Midnight to raise money for kids with cancer. I am here asking for help from local bands.

Last year I put on a fishing derby for families in honor of a little girl from Northern Colorado who lost her life due to a cancerous brain tumor at only three years old. We raised $10 grand for the cause, and Lures 4 Laney was born.

This year the format of the event is a bit different... I will be sitting a location to be determined all day on September 20th. During my broadcast that day I will be asking listeners to stop by my location to donate or also donate on our website. I will also have rock stars from around the country calling in to pledge their support.

There will also be slots open the whole day for local bands to come by and pledge their support to the cause by playing a song or two on the air acoustically. I have booked a few bands, but I am looking to fill the calendar with great local support. If you are in a band or know a band that would be interested in getting your song on the air and also helping a cause that is very near and dear to our hearts please email me: Butch@943Loudwire.com. Slots are filling fast so to assure your band a certain time please get with me soon.

Later in the evening there will be a post-party celebration in Northern Colorado with my Intern Romero and his band opening for a national act (we hope). We may also be interested in another band or two for support for this show.

Thank you for taking the time to consider helping a very important cause. I look forward to hearing some great talent in September!
