Townsquare Media High School MVP: Kaylie Phelps, Windsor High
Kaylie Phelps is finishing her prep volleyball career playing on the hardwood for the Windsor Wizards.
Her college career, however, will come on sand. The 5-foot-8 senior outside hitter has committed to play collegiate beach volleyball for the Master's University in Santa Clarita, California.
Phelps is one of seven seniors guiding the Class 4A No. 3 ranked Wizards undefeated start — the high school volleyball season was moved from fall to spring this year because of the pandemic.
Phelps led all Windsor players with 59 kills through the first six games of the season. She's this week's Townsquare Media High School MVP.
Phelps has been playing on varsity since she was a freshman and especially emerged last season with 209 kills and serving 29 aces.
