In a bit of good news, many of the areas in Grand County that have been evacuated since October 20th due to the East Troublesome Fire are expected to be reopened as early as today.

Wednesday, August 26, Poudre Fire Authority tweeted that they were battling the Picnic Rock Fire near Highway 287 and Highway 14, in the Poudre Canyon.
The Lewstone Fire, which was first reported on August 22 and forced evacuations, is burning northwest of Fort Collins near Laporte, 3.5 miles west of Highway 287.
