RainDance Welcomes New Director of Golf, Patrick Burke
RainDance Community in Windsor welcomes third-generation golf pro, Patrick Burke, as its new Director of Golf at RainDance National Resort & Golf, currently under construction.
According to a press release from The Water Valley Company, Burke recently relocated to Windsor from Orange County, California, though he grew up in New Jersey. Burke said that he heard stories of places like Poconos, Catskills and the Hamptons, where families would relax and make memories; an experience he believes Northern Coloradans and visitors alike will have in years to come at RainDance. Burke calls the property and vision different than anything he has 'seen or heard of.'
'I have played all over the world, and have never seen a property like it,' Burke said in the release. 'Our guests will get a huge surprise when they walk out to the property. It's a shocker.'
RainDance developer and owner Martin Lind said that RainDance and the team at The Water Valley Company are excited to have Burke on board 'not only for his fun and bantering personality, but for his love of introducing children to the sport.'
RainDance's first tee time is expected in July of 2022. The golf resort is being designed by a longtime friend of Burke, professional golfer Fred Funk, along with golf course architect Harrison Minchew with Arnold Palmer Design Co. Funk said it is his goal to have the course 'stand up to the best players in the world,' but also be a good time for golfers of all skill levels. Read more here.
