Say it with me now, 5...4...3 days left to the big rock show at the Taste of Country Concert's at the Greeley Stampede! Blue Oyster Cult will open up for Cheap Trick in Northern Colorado's premiere classic rock event of the summer this Saturday at the Greeley Stampede! The excitement builds more and more everyday, so we here at MAX-FM have decided to tease you a bit. Everyday this week I will feature a Video of the Day that showcases one of the band’s hits.

Today, we go back to the shows headliner and their 1979 hit, "Dream Police." Cheap Trick liked the song so much when they recorded it that they named the album after it. The song made it to #26 on the charts, but skyrocketed the album to platinum in just a few months along with being #6 on the album charts. The only other song to make the charts on the Dream Police album was "Voices." "Dream Police" has been an American staple, being covered by numerous bands, used on many popular T.V. shows, featured on the video game Guitar Hero, and most recently being remade for a Super Bowl XLIV commercial for Audi called "Green Police." Pretty entertaining video too!
