Butch’s Monday Afternoon Chode – Peter Tebow

Monday’s suck! There is no denying it, and no way around it. Still we have to get up, get dressed, deal with traffic, the boss, and annoying co-workers, and do it all with a smile. By Monday afternoon, you are ready to vent a bit, at least I am! That is why I have created the Monday Afternoon Chode. Basically a way for you to vent about somebody who pisses you off. Today my highlighted chode is the ass of a brother to Tim Tebow, Peter, who was talking sh** about my beloved Broncos! 

What is a chode? You can look it up on Urban Dictionary and get the actual street meaning, but to me it’s in the same line as douchebag, assh***, and dips***. Simply put, someone who pisses you off.

Everybody has someone in their life like this, and it can even be somebody you love, like your husband or mom, but still acted like a chode. Let’s try to stay away from politics though, because honestly no one gives a crap who you voted for or why. Anybody else is cool with me!

For this weeks edition of my Monday Afternoon Chode, I pick Tim Tebow's brother who may be a really good guy, but in my book is a chode. Here is why...

The Broncos lost, we know. The last thing any Bronco fan wants to hear after what happened was that they would have been better off with someone else. Especially Tim Tebow. We loved him here, we supported him here, and we were the only ones in his career to ever give him a chance. BUT, we had the chance at Peyton Manning, and no red-blooded human who knows anything about football would have passed on that chance.

I guess that is unless you are an idiot or related to Timmy. Tim's older brother, Peter, who leads a ministry based in Colorado was quick to Twitter after the game saying "Am I the only one in Denver who's happy right now?" While Tebow stopped short of pointing out that yes, his brother did happen to win a playoff game in overtime as a member of the Broncos last season while Peyton Manning failed in his quest to do so, he clearly relished the moment, retweeting another Tim Tebow fan's quote of "That's karma, Elway!"

Peter issued an apology today, but I am still hurt over the loss, and at the moment I still don't like anyone who feels like talking sh** about the Broncos. So hey Peter Tebow... You are a CHODE!!!
