Bleachers Interview: Jack Antonoff’s ‘Home on the Road,’ Exes + More
ON-AIR WITH SHELBY: Jack Antonoff (a.k.a Bleachers) explains (literally) taking his childhood bedroom on tour with him, and other gems behind his new album, Gone Now, out June 2.
That's right, Jack Antonoff's parents' house has something missing -- his childhood room, mint green carpet and all [PHOTOS]. The Bleachers musician actually has taken a little piece of home with him on tour, letting fans experience his new album, Gone Now, in the very space it was written.
As for his parents? Well, Antonoff says, 'They're pissed.' He explains why (and how) he took his old bedroom on the road with him here:
Antonoff also dished on working with ex-girlfriend, Alia Shawkat (Whip It, Arrested Development), and current girlfriend, Lena Dunham (HBO's Girls), for the 'Don't Take the Money' music video -- and reminisced about performing at The Starlight (now Hodi's Half Note).
Jack, we'll have ya back anytime! ;)
