How the Red Hot Chili Peppers Really Felt About Crazy Town’s ‘Butterfly’

ON-AIR WITH SHELBY: Crazy Town is best known for the 1999 'rap-rock' hit, 'Butterfly,' but a lot of people don't know that the 'rock' part of that song was sampled from the Red Hot Chili Peppers' 'Pretty Little Ditty' (1989).

How did Flea feel about that? I spoke with Seth 'Shifty Shellshock' Binzer from Crazy Town, who gave me the story behind The Gift of Game's chart-topping single, including that guitar riff you hear throughout the song.
