DJ Zedd is reportedly permanently banned from China, and it's all because of South Park

Colorado's favorite show about Colorado is no stranger to controversy, but in its 299th episode, 'Band in China,' Trey Parker and Matt Stone took shots at the country's media censorship. Following that, the show was wiped from existence in China.

After the 'Band in China' episode mocked Hollywood for shaping its content to please the Chinese government, Beijing has responded by deleting all clips, episodes and discussions of the Comedy Central show. - The Hollywood Reporter

According to Pitchfork, producer Zedd, who has collaborated with numerous artists, will not be traveling to China any time soon — or ever. He says he's not allowed because he 'liked' a tweet that referenced the show.

Yes, to recap: Zedd was banned from China for liking a South Park tweet referring to the episode, 'Band in China,' about China's strict censorship.
