'Cus it's 2019 and there's an app for that, duh. According to KRDO, Coloradans can have IDs or licenses on them digitally... just make sure your phone is charged when you hit the bars.

Colorado was initially a part of a pilot program to allow you to show ID via your smartphone, and now, if you use the MyColorado app, you can just scan the back of your ID to make your digital profile.

'All you have to do is scan the bar code on the back of your Colorado ID or driver license, and it'll let you create a profile in the app with your information,' KRDO reports. 'That can then be used as a replacement for your physical ID.'

However, the MyColorado app states that the 'Colorado Digital ID is currently only authorized for in-state use and non-law enforcement activities.' So, it's really meant more for convenience (read: no shuffling through your purse to find your card while hopping through Old Town or picking up prescriptions). But, your physical ID should still be carried on you, should you get pulled over while driving, etc.
