Walmart Proposal Ignites Couple’s Night of Sex Toy Robbing Spree

A couple celebrated their dramatic Walmart engagement in separate jail cells after allegedly shoplifting sex toys at Spencer's.

William Cornelius, Jr., 25 and his fiancée Sheri Moore, 20, were arrested December 30 in Bay City, Michigan, after they allegedly stole a "Bride-to-Be" thong, edible thong, oral sex candy, and a vibrator from a Spencer's shortly after leaving Walmart.

Cornelius popped the question to Moore over the PA system at Walmart that evening with a $29.62 ring he purchased at the store.

Shortly after they arrived at Spencer's, an employee called the Bay County Sheriff's Department with a shoplifting complaint.

Moore and Cornelius left the store before police arrived.

Moore was apprehended near a Taco Bell after she was followed by a Spencer's employee, according to court records. She denied stealing anything from Spencer's.

Meanwhile, Cornelius was found sleeping in the mall's food court, after he fell asleep at a table while tying his shoes. After waking him up, deputies searched him and found a watch along with several items from Spencer's worth $80.93.

Cornelius was arrested for retail fraud; Moore was charged with larceny.
