Top 5 Ugliest Modern Cars

Last week I wrote about how I think pickup trucks have the rudest drivers. It wasn't because I think pickup trucks are ugly, but for other reasons. It got me thinking, though - what are the ugliest cars on the market right now? There are plenty of cars I see where I find myself thinking, wow, that's an ugly-a** car. There are probably too many of them to name, but I came up with a list of the top 5 cars that I think are ugly.

Toyota Prius
I don't have an issue with hybrids or electric vehicles, but I've always thought the Toyota Prius is a super ugly car. It looks like a micro minivan and is mostly for pretentious people that think driving this foreign car is somehow saving the environment. With 4 different models, you can get this ugly auto starting at just $24,200.

Nissan Cube
I think we can all agree this car looks like a milk truck. The box shape is really difficult to pull off, and this one is just not working. Luckily this ugly car is a little cheaper - you can get it starting at $16,900.

Chevrolet SSR Pickup
This car was so ugly, Chevrolet discontinued it - thank God. Please tell me if I'm wrong, but I don't think pickup lovers even liked this car.

Volkswagen Beetle
The VW Beetle was cute 10 years ago, but since they altered the shape of the model, it's just really sad to look at. I feel like they tried to create a modern spin on the classic Beetle, but in my opinion, they failed. Get this ugly car starting at $20,695.

Smart Car
It's hard to believe this car's parent company is Mercedes-Benz, but it is. This is the cheapest ugliest car on the list, and for a good reason - it's just really ugly. Get this ugly auto for just $13,270.
