It's seems to be a season not only for changing leaves, but changing up things at a few Loveland businesses. Have you taken notice of what they've done?

Two of the establishments have changed up long-standing signage that they've had; the other has added something to their patio area. All stand out as signs of success tor the popular businesses in town.

Loveland has seen it's share of business upgrades, from when "Restaurant Impossible" renovated Casa Real, to when Bar Rescue came to town to renovate not one but two bars. Now, I'm not saying these featured recent changes are Reality TV material, but they do stand out.

VERBOTEN BREWING & BARREL PROJECT

Verboten has been on 5th Street in Downtown Loveland since 2016, after moving from their location across town off of Boise. Both locations have featured their original signage.

Verboten has decided to put some of their successes into a brand new sign, that takes up much more "real estate" above their doors.

It's a lot bigger and different, in the respect that the "V" is now black with red inside. It kind of resembles Tesla, in my opinion.

RUNZA

Runza has been open on Lincoln Avenue for nearly 30 years. I even worked there in my early 20's, flipping burgers and baking those famous Runzas. They recently did a remodel to the inside and got a brand new sign out front.

The new sign stands out, for sure.

No more marquee? That just seems crazy. But, going out there in the freezing cold to put up something about "Chili" wasn't much fun. It's another one where they've changed the color-scheme, from green on yellow, to white on green. I'd say that this means they're going to be around for many more years to come.

TOM DAVIS SALOON

One of Loveland's newest favorite places, Tom Davis Saloon hasn't been open that long at all, but that didn't stop them from making an addition to their outdoor seating.

Tom Davis has a nice outdoor seating area that wraps along 5th Street and onto Cleveland Avenue. What they've done, is to add a "privacy" and "keeping the noise down" wall to the situation.

It was very smart and appropriate to make the "wall" out of U.S. flags. Customers will be much more at ease when sitting out near 5th Street, now.
