This Old Town Intersection Is Getting a $22 Million Makeover
Mountain and Mathews will be home to the empty tire shop no more. According to The Coloradoan, a new $22 million building will take its place.
Mountain View Tire and Service Center has been vacant in one of the most-desirable locations in Downtown Fort Collins for at least five years, but that's about to change — a lot.
Rather than another business taking its place, it'll be scrapped and replaced by 'four-story, 71,302-square-foot mixed-use building in Old Town,' BizWest reports. It will be a mix of businesses and residences.
Elevations Credit Union has officially broken ground on the project that will change the Old Town landscape, similar to how The Armadillo was replaced with The Elizabeth Hotel a few years back in the same intersection.
