Halloween is only a week away, but why wait until next weekend to celebrate this spine-chilling holiday when you can get in your trick-or-treat fix early? All of the following events happening this weekend incorporate a variety of Halloween essentials in order to ensure your spooky-season craving is filled this season.

This sweet event is geared towards young trick-or-treaters that want a safe, non-scary alternative to the typical ghostly functions that Halloween tends to bring on. Treatsylvania is an annual family-friendly fundraiser happening from 6-7 p.m. on Friday; 6-8 p.m. on Saturday; and from 1-3 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are $5 for children and free for adults. Located at The Farm at Lee Martinez Park, guests can expect to see a pumpkin patch, hayrides, ‘not-so-spooky’ barn activities, cookies, refreshments and of course, trick-or-treating. For our older attendees, Retro 102.5 will be offering an 80's pop culture quiz with the top scorers eligible to win a $50 gift card to the new Windsor Mill Tavern.

If you like heavy eyeliner and bands like Panic! At the Disco, My Chemical Romance and Fall Out Boy, Emoween is the event for you. The Moxi Theater, located in Greeley, Colorado invites you to celebrate Emoween while winning prizes, entering in a costume contest and requesting your favorite Emo-themed songs. The event starts at 8 p.m. on Saturday. For just a slim fee of $10, you too can “get sad” and indulge in all that Emoween has to offer.

The fourth annual Darkness Pours Halloween Party is happening from 8 p.m. to midnight on Saturday at the New Belgium Brewing taproom. Hosted by DJ Chris Schooly, this brew-themed party is one that you won’t want to miss. New Belgium is offering exclusive beers such as Witches Brew, a guava-ginger and wood-aged sour treat and Carnie’s Blood, a strawberry-hibiscus and wood-aged sour blend. Tickets are $15, and you must be 21 or over to attend this eerie event. The hosts are encouraging attendees to wear their most outrageous Halloween costumes of choice.
