The Town Of Windsor Summer Events Have Become A Big Hit! [INTERVIEW]

Every summer almost every town puts on an event to keep the residents entertained and involved in the community, but I have yet to see anyone do it as well as the town of Windsor.

Every Thursday night from the middle of June until the middle of August Windsor puts on a free concert in the park. It's not just any old concert series with washed up bands on dead grass though. The Windsor Summer Concert Series is at one of the most state of the art parks in Northern Colorado, Boardwalk Park. The park features the normal park amenities like a playground, lots of open grass space, and a gazebo, but it also has clean restrooms, a concession stand, a lake complete with a swimming beach, beach volleyball, and water toys to rent. Oh, and the bands are the best that Northern Colorado has to offer, and not just Northern Colorado actually, Windsor cares so much about having the best bands they can find that they venture all over the region getting bands to play their shows.

Along with the great entertainment every Thursday night, the town of Windsor also adds some flavor to the Summer Concert Series once a year with the Taste of Windsor. Food vendors from across Northern Colorado gather at Boardwalk Park to give Taste goers a try of the best they have to offer. Some tasting events have clutter and booths that have no business being involved with that sort of event, but once again Windsor does it right! Only the best of the best in food vendors are stationed at the park and organized in a such a way that it makes it easy to find the best tasting food you'll eat on a lawn chair ever! After a few hours of tasting, the Summer Concert Series washes down that gyro from Taverna Greek Grill or the Ribs from Famous Dave's.

The Town of Windsor puts on many great events throughout the year, and the Windsor Summer Concert Series continues through August 11th every Thursday night from 6:30-8:30PM at Boardwalk Park.
