Sammy Hagar Gives to the Food Bank for Larimer County
Who says you can't be Rock 'N Roll Hall of Famer and a nice guy at the same time?Sammy Hagar will be in Loveland at the Budweiser Events Center on August 20, but he has committed to more than a one night performance in Northern Colorado.
Hagar will donate $2,500 to the Food Bank for Larimer County to help Northern Coloradoans in need.
After partnering with food banks on previous tours and seeing the impact they have on those in need, Hagar decided to give to local food banks in each city in which he performs.
“Food banks in your local community are the biggest bang for your buck in my search for the simplest and most reliable way to help others,” Hagar said in a recent Billboard article. “You see the clientele lined up and they need it. You don’t see people taking advantage of something.”
Just for that, I think we celebrate and toast to Sammy with his very own tequila!
