It's finally starting to feel like fall, and with Halloween just about a month away, it's time to embrace the spookiest season of the year. Haunted houses and corn mazes are always fun, but something new to try this year is Pumpkin Nights — coming to Colorado October 17 through November 4. For the first time ever, Pumpkin Nights will be at the Adams County Fairgrounds in Brighton from 5:30 to 10:30 p.m. every night, except Halloween.

This interactive Halloween-themed festival features a 40-foot long dragon, a ghostly pirate ship, and an undersea wonderland, all built using 3,000 real and artificial pumpkins. Lights and spooky decor add to the experience as guests walk along a 0.5 mile path lined with unique pumpkin displays. Besides, the pumpkin lands, guests can pick their own pumpkin from a patch and paint it. Artists will be on-site carving giant pumpkins, as well as fire dancers for the  Spirit of Pumpkins Fire Show. Seasonal food and drinks will also be available. Tickets range from $12-$60, depending on age and group size. There are also special night owl rates available.
