Quentin Tarantino is making a new movie... and he's going to shoot it in Colorado.

With a budget of $44 million, Tarantino's new film, a western, will be shot on location at the Schmid Ranch on Wilson Mesa, which is about 10 miles outside Telluride. Shooting is expected to begin in December.

Set in the 1870's, "The Hateful Eight" is a post-civil war, bounty-hunter cowboy movie that will star Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell and Michael Madson. Sounds BADA**!!!

It's about time! The last movie I liked that was made in Colorado was "Things To Do In Denver When You're Dead." That was so long ago. And hey man, if it's only half as good as my favorite Tarantino film, "Reservoir Dogs," then I can't wait to see it.
