More Cowbell! [VIDEO]

With the big rock show at the Taste of Country Concert series at the Greeley Stampede only a little more than two months away I am starting to get a little pumped up! One of the bands that will be rocking the stage at Island Grove Park in Greeley on July 2nd happens to be the center of one of the most well known skits on Saturday Night Live as well. Blue Oyster Cult's song "Dont Fear the Reaper" was made fun of in a skit including actors Will Ferrel and Christopher Walken. Even though they were making fun of the song on SNL, sales skyrocketed for Blue Oyster Cult's 1976 album "Agents of Fortune."
