Marijuana Dispensaries Could Soon Come to Loveland

Ever notice the lack of dispensaries in Loveland? Now that I think about it, yes... That could change if a ban on retail marijuana is lifted by the City of Loveland.

According to Loveland Reporter-Herald, a ban-reversal could make its way onto the November ballot. The ban has been in place since 2011.

Despite that, in 2018, Larimer County made $46.6 million in retail marijuana sales, The Coloradoan reported, which is coming from the dispensaries in Fort Collins. Berthoud, which is also in Larimer County, only permits the sale of medicinal marijuana.
