Rumors began to circulate last week around the fate of Fort Collins' beloved 'dive venue,' Hodi's Half Note, and unfortunately, it's been confirmed that its doors will not reopen as a music venue

While it hasn't been said why the venue is shutting down, as concert venues across the nation have remained closed since March, it's become apparent that not all will come back in post-COVID-19 life. Sadly, Hodi's is Fort Collins' first loss.

While the venue has been quiet about its closing on social media, The Coloradoan's Erin Udell confirmed with owner Dan Mladenik that the venue, open for 13 years in Old Town Fort Collins (previously the Starlight), will close, and reopen as a comedy club (read more here).

Hodi's Half Note is a place that's been close to our hearts, and will be missed by all of us live music fans. Oh, and thanks for letting me have a prom there that one time.
