If you have ever hiked or biked the Poudre Trail, I am sure you have noticed the gaps along the 45-mile route.

According to the Coloradoan, a $2 million grant from the Great Outdoors Colorado Board will fix that in the next two years.

The three gaps will be filled making the Poudre Trail, one continuous 45-mile trail from Bellvue to Greeley. The final planning will take place this fall with the work beginning shortly after.

The project must be complete by 2022 according to stipulations in the grant.

The three gaps being filled in are in East Fort Collins, Windsor and Timnath. Happy hiking and biking.
