Summer is over, and while the Holiday Twin Drive-In typically packs it up until the following year, they're doing something a little different this October by hosting two special events later in month that are sure to get people into the Halloween spirit.

On Friday, October 27, get ready for a night of fright as the Holiday Twin presents a Spook-a-thon, featuring either two back-to back horror films, two monster movie classics, or one of each. The films have yet to be announced, but on the Drive-In's website, guests can partake in voting for which movies will be played. A costume contest will also be taking place before the showings, so don't forget to dress up! General admission tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for children. The spookiness all starts at 6 p.m.

The Hallo-weekend continues with Trunk-or-Treating beginning at 5 p.m. on October 28. This night is geared more towards kids, with a costume contest and of course, lots of candy! When it comes to a costume, don't just dress yourself up – deck out the car too, and take part in the Best Car Decoration Contest. While checking out the Halloween-themed cars, guests will get to "trunk or treat," so it's a good idea to bring some candy of your own to pass out. The night concludes with a double feature of two more movies, both also still yet to be decided, and which people can vote on too. Admission is $5 for kids 6-9 years old, and $7 for anyone over the age of 10.

While costumes are greatly encouraged for both events, the Holiday Twin staff asks that guests please leave all swords, knives and other weapons at home, even if they are fake.
