The Colorado Cougars would like to announce that in advance of their first player tryout this Saturday at 11am, Northridge High School in Greeley, CO the league has released their 2011-2012 schedule.

Although the venues have not been finalized they will open the season with two games on the road November 5th and November 6th in Colorado Springs against the Crusaders.

Their home opener will be against the Wyoming Roughnecks on November 12th with a second game in the set on the following day November 13th. The remainder of the schedule can be seen on their website; www.abacougars.com.

A challenging inaugural season will feature a fund raising tournament for tsunami victims in Denver that will include a team from Japan, (the Gym Rats) and nine other teams including the Cougars. The Cougars will then host the Gym Rats from Japan right here in Northern Colorado on February 25th and 26th to finish out their regular season.

The Colorado Cougars are a men's professional basketball team representing Northern Colorado as an expansion team to the Rocky Mountain Division of the American Basketball Association.
