The latest Smurfs movie, in theaters this Friday (April 7), features the song 'You Will Always Find Me in Your Heart.' It was composed by Christopher Lennertz and KT Tunstall, and performed by Fort Collins' own, Shaley Scott.

Scott's name may sound familiar. She is a Rocky Mountain High School grad, raised in Fort Collins, and is currently signed to Colorado label Sugarfox Records. According to Dawn Duncan of Sugarfox/Scene Magazine, the singer brought a little bit of Northern Colorado with her to the 'blue carpet' movie premiere event in Los Angeles over the weekend.

'It took a VILLAGE to prep for this premiere and several local people helped...to get her 'L.A. ready,' Duncan said. 'Penny Fryer at Purify, Premier Skin Clinic, and also her stylist, Stevie Becker of Ohana Salon -- Stevie flew to L.A. just to do Shaley's hair/makeup for the premiere.'

Scott is currently working on 'RADIATE,' an electro-pop/rock album set to be released this summer.
