Fort Collins Area 4th of July Weekend Forecast
It will be hot with a 100 percent chance of you should wear your mask. Joking aside (although, I'm not really joking), it will be pretty warm, you'll want to be out, so let's celebrate responsibly — and these days, that responsibility isn't just limited to no at-home pyrotechnics and not drinking and driving.
If your 4th of July weekend starts Friday, it'll be sunny, with highs in the mid 90, the National Weather Service reports. Only a slight chance of showers.
On Saturday, you can fire up the grill and crack open a really cold one, because it's expected to also hit the mid 90s, with a higher chance of afternoon storms. There's a possibility those thunderstorms could stick around through the evening, so hopefully they don't interfere with fireworks. Sunday will be about the same.
Remember that parties and social gatherings are highly discouraged right now, so find a way to celebrate while social distancing and wearing a mask to protect those around you.
