The X Presents Dead Poet Society at The Coast in Fort Collins

When you hear the words Dead Poet Society, most people think of the classic and iconic movie.

But when we at The X hear it, we immediately think of the amazing alt-music group that will be playing The Coast in Fort Collins, Colorado, in October.  

That's right, on Oct. 7, The Coast and 94.3 The X are coming together to present Dead Poet Society with special guests Public Theater and Clementine. 

Now, if you're one of those people who only think of the movie "Dead Poets Society" when we say Dead Poet Society, here's a look into what Dead Poet Society's music is and why they make it.  

Dead Poet Society can be described as a modern and up-rising rock band. They have a new and unique sound that almost has an indie flair.

They started making a name for themselves in 2014 with their single "Sound and Silence," which has a rougher tone than some of their newer work.

I would 100% recommend you listen to this song; like the name says, they play around a lot with tones and volume in the song. It makes it an incredibly interesting song to listen to.  

If you like indie rock, new-age rock, or just love a good concert, you won't want to miss this show. Dead Poet Society puts on such an amazing performance.
