Northern Colorado's has it's very own professional football team, and sure, may not have Peyton Manning and Von Miller, but those guys aren't very entertaining in the Spring and Summer. That's when the Colorado Ice do their work. This regular season was another success for the team, but now it's time to do something the Broncos couldn't... Win in the playoffs.

This Saturday (June 22nd) the Ice will travel to Grand Island, Nebraska to take on the Nebraska Danger playing for the rights to the Intense Conference Championship and a trip to the IFL Championship.

The Ice are coming off of a solid 58-43 victory over the Wyoming Cavalry and for the season the Ice sweeps the Cavalry for a second year.

The Nebraska Danger finished their regular season with a thriller, defeating the Tri-Cities Fever 69-64 on Saturday night. The Danger come into the game with a 10-4 record, tied for best in the league, and seeking a win in the franchises first ever playoff appearance. The match up features Nebraska’s #1 ranked offense against Colorado’s #3 ranked defense, adding pressure for the Ice defense to perform.
