Colorado’s Favorite Fast Food Restaurant Has 82 Locations
Colorado has its fair share of chains that have been rolling through the state.
Whether it’s former fast food giants like Quiznos, who have had a fall from grace after getting its start in Denver, or new chains like Cava that are taking the state by storm, there’s certainly a lot of layers to this topic.
However, a recent study done by FinanceBuzz looked to answer a question: What is the preferred fast food restaurant in each state?
For Colorado, it would seem we’ve got a favorite that does not get talked about enough. Plus, you can trace its roots back to the Centennial State.
Qdoba is Named Colorado’s Favorite Fast Food Chain
It would seem Qdoba has seemingly become Colorado’s favorite fast food chain. To find this, FinanceBuzz used both the number of restaurant locations and search popularity to find the most popular spots.
At first, that may seem like a bit of a shock. Sure, Qdoba is popular, but is it really that popular?
But when I think about it, I don’t think I’ve ever heard someone say anything bad about Qdoba. Based on that, it starts to make perfect sense.
Qdoba is a Bit of a Hometown Hero
As many people know, Chipotle was founded in Denver. I know, big shocker.
However, some may not be aware that Qdoba was also opened in Denver in 1995, just two years after its biggest competitor.
You can still go to the original Qdoba today on Grant Street and Sixth Avenue. However, you can visit 82 locations throughout Colorado.
With all of this being said, the fact that both Qdoba and Chipotle opened in Colorado and are direct competitors with each other is extremely interesting.
What do you think about all this? Is Qdoba your favorite chain in Colorado? Do you think Chipotle is better? Or, is it something completely different?
