An 18-year-old Cheyenne man is facing up to 150 years in prison after allegedly burglarizing several Cheyenne homes.

According to court documents, Rodrigo Franco Martinez allegedly burglarized five homes in early December, stealing at least nine guns, multiple pieces of jewelry and over $8,200 in cash.

On December 21, police spotted a white Jeep believed to have been used in the burglaries parked and running in the area where two of the burglaries had taken place.

Police say 22-year-old Jesus Gracia and Martinez were in the SUV. Police searched the vehicle and found four rings and a leather holster, which they later confirmed were stolen in the burglaries.

On December 22, police discovered Martinez had pawned 14 pieces of jewelry at Mister Money in Fort Collins on December 9. Luckily, the store still had the items and police were able to match eight of them to one of the burglaries.

Police interviewed Martinez and Gracia on January 10 and say Martinez admitted to burglarizing several houses and giving some of the money to Gracia. Gracia reportedly admitted that he would wait in the Jeep while Martinez burglarized the houses.

The men reportedly told police that they had given the guns stolen in the burglaries to Erick Orozco at Orozco's father's trailer. Police searched the trailer on January 12 and recovered several guns, including five that were stolen in the burglaries.

Martinez has been charged with four counts of aggravated burglary-deadly weapon, four counts of theft and one count of burglary.

Martinez is being held in the Laramie County Jail on $25,000 cash bond. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 19.
