  • As you wish...

According to Buzzfeed, that famous scene where Westley and Buttercup are rolling down the hill is actually two stuntmen -- one wearing a dress, and long blonde wig.

  • The chemistry was real.

The Princess Bride's IMDb page shares that Robin Wright and Cary Elwes had a lot of off-screen chemistry, and  the actors were 'reluctant to end their time with the film' so during the final kiss scene, they kept requesting they do another take.

  • Elwes filmed much of The Princess Bride with a broken toe.

According to Mental Floss, Elwes broke his toe in an ATV accident. 'The young actor tried to hide the injury from his director...they did have to work some movie magic to allow Elwes to limp around in many of the scenes undetected.'
