Bob Seger Announces American Tour; New album in the Works!

For almost as long as I can remember, Bob Seger has been one of my all time favorites!  I still pull out Live Bullet and fire it up when the mood strikes, and frankly when that happens really  nothing else will do!  Now Bob is heading out on tour!  YES....I am a happy camper!

Rolling Stone writes;

One day after dropping a strong hint on his website, Bob Seger has officially announced plans for a North American tour that kicks off in March. According to a press release, dates will be announced shortly. The statement added, "Fans can expect to see and hear Seger’s timeless classics like 'Night Moves' and 'Old Time Rock & Roll' alongside a preview of new songs from his forthcoming as yet untitled new release."

A teaser video on Seger's website shows an otherwise blank map with Ohio, Michigan, New York and Missouri highlighted — though the tour will almost certainly hit many more markets than those four. The tour's press release is the first solid indication that Seger is working on a new material, though it's unclear when that project will see the light of day.

It's also unclear just how extensive this tour will be. Seger's longtime drummer is Grand Funk Railroad's Don Brewer, and he only has three shows booked for March, April and May with the current incarnation of Grand Funk.
