Island Grove Park will be rockin' out on June 27, 2015 as Whitesnake and Night Ranger take the stage. Both popular in the '80s, these two groups will rock the night with their classic favorites, as well as some newer music, as part of this year's Greeley Stampede lineup.

Founded in 1978 by David Coverdale, Whitesnake has had years of success and continues to put out new music to this day. This past May, the band released their twelfth studio album titled, The Purple Album, which contains remakes of songs from Deep Purple, which was Coverdale's band prior to forming Whitesnake. The tribute album from Whitesnake debuted at number 87 on the Billboard 200. The songs on this album have been given a new energy that'll make you want to tease your hair and jump on the hood of your car and dance!

To get you ready for Saturday night, we rounded up six of our favorite Whitesnake songs for you to rock out to.

    'Here I Go Again'

If you're like us, you can't help but sing along whenever this song comes on! First released in 1982 on the Saints 'N' Sinners album, 'Here I Go Again' became a huge hit in the U.S. and England. The video perfectly represents hair bands of the '80s, with Tawny Kitaen dancing seductively on the hood of two cars (one of which was actually belonging to Coverdale). Many find this song to be inspirational, but it is really about the heartbreak and loneliness that Coverdale experienced after the breakdown of his first marriage.

    'Lovehunter'

"I'm a love hunter babyyyy!" This is such an awesome song to rock out to! Hailing from Whitesnake's second studio album that is recognized for its controversial cover art, 'Lovehunter' shows off the dazzling guitar talents of Micky Moody.

    'Slide It In'

'Slide It In' off of Whitesnake's sixth studio album and probably gave boys all the confidence they needed to seal the deal. This album was the final one where the band used their original "snake" logo. Two different editions of this album were released, one being the U.K. version and one being for the U.S.

    'Is This Love'

This song hit number 9 on the charts in the U.S. and is the band's second biggest U.S. hit after 'Here I Go Again'. This song definitely shows the sensitive side of Coverdale. This is another video featuring 80s vixen Tawny Kitaen, who was Coverdale's actual girlfriend at the time.

    'Crying In The Rain'

Can we all agree that songs that are written out of heartbreak are sometimes the best? Inspired by Coverdale's divorce, 'Crying In The Rain' has a slower tempo and is very bluesy sounding. Originally released on the group's 1982 album Saints & Sinners album, the song was later re-recorded on the group's 1987 album Whitesnake.

    'Give Me All Your Love'

This song is full of energy and makes you want to dance! The music video that was made for this hit used an extremely low budget and differs from most of the other videos put out by the band. This song comes from the band's 1987 self-titled album.
