Fort Collins, meet DREAMERS, the other trio coming to this year's Taste of Fort Collins. They'll be on stage just before the iconic Rick Springfield, so here are five things you should know about them.

1) They Come From All Over

Singer Nick Wold is from Seattle, bassist Marc Nelson is from Maryland and drummer Jacob Wick is from California, but they formed in 2014 in New York City.

2) They Don't Have Tinder (That We Know Of), But If They Did, Here's How They'd Pick Up the Ladies...

3) They Got to Tour With Scott Weiland Before He Died

In 2015, the band hit the road with Stone Temple Pilots, playing the Fillmore in Denver (and they weren't even signed to a label yet). Months later, Weiland died from a drug overdose.

'We've been fans of Stone Temple Pilots forever so for them to have us on tour with them is a DREAMERS dream. The fact that they chose an unsigned band to share the stage with them on their entire tour is cosmic and we are so grateful for the opportunity. Bands like STP, Nirvana, and other legendary '90's bands are the reason we're here today,' Wold told Alt Press.

4) Their Song 'Sweet Disaster' Is Just About Getting Drunk. That's It.

While there will be no 'river of champagne' at Taste of Fort Collins, there will be plenty of beer — if you're over 21. Cheers!

'The song is about how it feels to just get drunk and forget about everything,” Wold told The Indie Sound. 'It’s really kind of that simple.'

5) They Are a DREAM Act to Pair with Rick Springfield, Because They Love the '80s

The band credits Talking Heads as an influence, and a part of the song 'Sweet Disaster,' but bassist Marc Nelson admits to having a crush on Cyndi Lauper. (Who doesn't?)

You can see DREAMERS in Washington Park on Saturday, June 8 at Taste of Fort Collins 2019, sponsored by First National Bank.
