10 Halloween Activities in Northern Colorado

Kids or no kids, there are a million things to do at Halloween. Here is a list of ten events or locations to take advantage of this Halloween season - some for family and some for adults looking for a night out!

1. Treatsylvania Trick or Treat Street
Where: The Farm at Lee Martinez Park, 600 N. Sherwood in Fort Collins
When: October 23 from 6 to 7:30p, October 24 from 6 to 8p, October 25 from 1 to 3p OR 5 to 6:30p
Who: All Ages (up to age 11)
Cost: $5 per child, adults are free
What: Treatsylvania is a Fort Collins staple. This safe trick or treat has been around for almost 30 years. You can bring your little one to this event and trick or treat around the "storefronts" that are set up around The Farm. You can even take a hayride (included in the ticket cost) and see the animals as you go! Tickets go fast, so purchase in advance by visiting The Farm, Northside Aztlan Center or EPIC. 2. Halloween Hullabaloo Street Festival (The Marketplace at Centerra in Loveland)
Where: The Marketplace at Centerra in Loveland (Hwy. 34 and Rocky Mountain Avenue)
When: October 31, Noon to 4p
Who: All ages
Cost: FREE
What: This Halloween street festival will feature a variety of hands-on and interactive activities for all ages from Noon to 3:30p. Activities include but not limited to: pumpkin bowling, no-so-spooky hay maze, face painting, petting zoo, spookie selfie station, games and crafts. At the end of the event from 3 to 4p on the main stage there will be a costume contest. Those who wish to participate need to visit the Centerra Booth prior to 3p to register. 3. Halloween Family Fun Festival
Where: Peters Park and 5th Street, adjacent to the Museum in Loveland
When: October 31, 10a to 2p
Who: All Ages
Cost:FREE
What: Why not show off your costumes? The Halloween Family Fun Festival is an event by the Loveland Museum and Gallery, includes a costume contest and is happening while downtown businesses also celebrate and allow trick or treating. There are vendor booths, food, activities for kids, entertainment and more. You can register for the Costume Contest Booth on the day of the event, but you MUST register before 12:15p on the day of. Prizes will be given for first, second and third, in certain age groups. 4: Howl A Ween Trick or Treat
Where: Centennial Village in Greeley
When: October 24 and October 25 from 4p to 8p
Who: All Ages
Cost: $1 for children, $2 for adults
What: Get all dressed up and head to Centennial Village in Greeley to do some trick or treating. You will stop at each of the historic structures for candy. Carnival games, costume contest, a haunted house, a fortune teller and more! 5: Tiny Tot Halloween
Where: Oak Street Plaza in Fort Collins (Oak and College Avenue)
When: October 30 from 10a until 1p
Who: Up to age 7 is age appropriate

What: Another safe trick-or-treat option for young children and their parents. Meet in Oak Street Plaza to get a goodie bag and then go visit numerous local merchants' shops. 5: Fritzler's Corn Maze

When: Fridays from 5p to 10p, Saturdays from 10a to 11p and Sundays from Noon to 5p

What: The Fritzler's Corn Maze is absolutely a family friendly location for Halloween. Their hours allow for you to go any weekend between now and Halloween. There is fun for all, a maze during the day that is family friendly and becomes haunted at night. 6: Northern Colorado Jack Lantern Corn Maze

What: This lesser know corn maze in Northern Colorado is fun for all. They have expanded to include fun activities for the kids during the day and then the ghosts and ghouls haunt at night in the maze. Truly a scary experience to do at night! 7: Osborn Farm

What: The Osborn Farm has gone back to their roots this year. They have vendors on site who are selling their items at a low cost and you and pick your own pumpkins at the patch. 8: Anderson Farms
