You Can Help the Man Severely Injured in Windsor Explosion
On December 23, there was an explosion at an oil drilling site in Windsor, which left Houston 'Ty' Pirtle severely injured with second and third-degree burns. While Pirtle is recovering, he has a wife and two young children at home during this difficult time, but you can help.
His family started a GoFundMe page, which explains that while Pirtle's wife was away visiting him in the hospital, the pipes froze in their home, causing their house to flood.
His wife, Rachel, is a stay-at-home mom for their two children, ages 3 and 1, and has been by his side for the past 8 days since he accident. She arrived home New Year’s day with the kids only to find the freezing temperatures had frozen their pipes and the house was flooded. She has been so strong through all the past days and my heart just ached to hear her voice breaking when she told me about the house. source: GoFundMe
Pirtle is still recovering and unable to speak. Money donated to the GoFundMe will help with rent, utilities, food, babysitter, etc.
