Most of the time, I don't even notice that I wear all black. It just happens, even in the middle of summer. I used to wear colors on a daily basis, but as I've gotten older, something changed... I didn't even realize it was happening until my friends and loved ones staged an intervention.

It's not because I'm unhappy or because I think I'm Kelly Cutrone or anything. I'm used to being told I look like a witch, and occasionally Wednesday Addams, but I embrace it. In all honesty, it probably has everything to do with the fact that I change my hair color every month, so I need a consistent wardrobe that I know won't clash with it. People will be critical, but never let them see ya sweat! (Literally. That's a perk of black.)

Jenny, the wife of my co-worker and good friend, Todd, posted  a video on Facebook for me via Buzzfeed. Then everything made sense. I've got this black wardrobe in the bag.

Next time you see someone who suffers from Chronic Black Attire Syndrome, don't ask them if they wear colors. Simply,consider this:
