X Ambassadors Talk Tour de Fat, New Music and More With Shelby

X Ambassadors are headed to Fort Collins to perform at this year's Tour de Fat at New Belgium with All-American Rejects -- so will they be biking and beering in costume, too? Well, we'll see about that.

Frontman Sam Harris chatted with me about the September 2 show, as well as the band's new single, 'Ahead of Myself,' and the upcoming record and music video in the works.

'I've had a couple experiences in the last year and a half, or two years, since we put VHS out, where I have found myself, you know, committing to someone or something before I was ready... this song is kind of an admission of those things,' Harris said about the band's song, 'Ahead of Myself.'

'It's good to admit our faults.'
