The COVID-19 pandemic has changed virtually everything about our lives — and that includes voting.

Larimer County's Primary Election is coming up on Tuesday, June 30. Thankfully, the county has made it easy to get your vote in safely.

But first, it's important to make sure that you are registered to vote. You can do this easily on Larimer County's website here.

Once that's complete, you still have time to get your ballot in via mail.

"Larimer County and Colorado have a wonderful voting system that allows for folks to not have to interact person to person in order to get their votes in," said Angela Myers, Larimer County's Clerk and Recorder, in our "Tuned In to NoCo" interview. "If you're a registered voter, you're going to get your ballot in the mail. When you receive your ballot, please vote it right away, don't wait. A first-class stamp will do, that requires no social interaction whatsoever."

The last day to mail your ballot back in is Monday, June 22.

If you miss that deadline, you can still vote, and social distance, by dropping your ballot off at one of Larimer County's many drop-off locations, which you can find here.

As a last resort, you are also able to cast your vote at a Voter Service and Polling Center (VSPC). However, Myers asks that you give her office a call at (970)-498-7820 before pursuing this option.

If you must vote in person, make sure to wear your mask and to be mindful of social distancing while at the VSPC.

You can find more details about all of these options, as well as voter registration and candidate information, at votelarimer.org.

"Be sure to get those ballots in by 7 p.m. on Election Day. [If] any voters have any concerns about any of the noise they hear out in the press, please call me directly," said Myers. "I work for you. I am your Clerk and Recorder here in Larimer County. And I always appreciate direct interaction with citizens."
