Of course turkey is the main event on most Thanksgiving tables, but for a lot of people like me, it is not necessarily your favorite part. There are so many other options on the table, you have to pick and choose what and how much of each item to take so you don't get stuffed on the wrong stuff. What is your favorite Thanksgiving side dish?

One thing is for certain, we do a lot of eating on Thanksgiving. The commonly cited statistic is that the average American will consume more than 4,500 calories on Thanksgiving Day alone. That’s according to the Calorie Control Council, which represents the people who bring you diet foods.

You would have to eat almost two whole meals to get to that many calories according to others. The real question is does anyone really care about calorie count? It's Thanksgiving!
