Weld County Moving To Level Red COVID Restrictions

The severity of COVID-19 cases and restrictions is being measured by a color wheel in the state of Colorado.

Weld County is jumping backwards, going from Level Yellow to Level Red on Sunday. That means new restrictions. Neighboring Larimer County currently remains at Level Yellow.

The Greeley Tribune reports:

The change in levels takes place Sunday at 5 p.m., the letter indicates.

Changes in restriction level from Level Yellow to Level Red include the following:

The county is not eligible for variances from the state
Personal gathering size decreases from “up to 10 from no more than two households to “none.”
Places of worship and indoor life rites, like weddings and funerals, decrease in capacity from 50% to 25%. Outdoor life rites and worship services are still allowed with 6-foot distancing.
Restaurants are closed for indoor dining. Take out, curbside, delivery and to-go is open.
Last call is changed from 11 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Non-critical manufacturing decreases from 50% capacity to 25%.
Offices go from 50% capacity with remote work strongly encouraged to 10% capacity, with remote work strongly encouraged.
Gyms reduce from 25% capacity to 10% capacity, 10 indoors per room or outdoor in groups less than 10. Reservations are required.
Personal services decrease from 50% to 25% capacity.
Indoor seated events and entertainment go from 50% capacity to closed.
Outdoor seated and unseated events go from 50% capacity to 25%, if attended only with members of your own household and 6 feet of spacing is possible.
Outdoor guided services decrease from 50% to 25% capacity.

While there are a number of changes, Weld County Sheriff Steve Reams posted his agency won't actually enforce the new order.
