We've been enjoying plenty of sunshine and warm temperatures over the past few months but come this weekend, there will be some pretty big changes both for us and especially for those in the higher elevations.

For most of us along the Front Range, we will see daily high temperatures to drop from the mid to upper 80's down to the upper 60's to low 70's with chances of showers off and on throughout the weekend and even into early next week.

The higher up you go the chillier it will be and the better chance you have of seeing some snow so keep that in mind if your travels include heading over any passes this weekend and if you or someone you know is going to be doing some hiking and possibly looking at a 14'er, make sure you are well connected to mountain forecasts such as Mountain-Forecast.com.

So as we bring in the month of October, it's certainly going to start looking and feeling like fall through all of next week even as we dry out after Monday, temperatures are looking to stay seasonal and comfortable with temperatures hanging around the upper 60's to lower 70's with mostly sunny skies.

So if you're looking to get some yardwork done or get those Halloween decorations set up, this weekend between the showers and next week especially looks great.
