Again, this is a team (or person) with too much time of their hands or a very gloomy persona; but here we are talking about it.  In less than a few minutes at the site you can launch an asteroid to slam into (nearly) any given location, including Fort Collins.

At the site, Neal.com, you can adjust your settings: Make it a small asteroid, make it a mile-wide asteroid. Make it a direct hit, or have it come in at an angle, etc. I went with a mile-wide asteroid and it looked something like this.
