A bear in southern Colorado was caught red-handed, or should I say, red-pawed, eating out of a bird feeder near a balcony. The video shared by Colorado Parks and Wildlife states that the incident happened at a vacation rental home north of Durango.

Colorado Parks and Wildlife say that birdfeeders encourage bears to become more comfortable around homes and humans. Colorado Parks and Wildlife ask that you take your birdfeeders indoors at night to avoid the bears to be lured in to feed on them. If bears have been spotted in your area, you should also take down the birdfeeders for the rest of the season.
