It's always wonderful to see a local business get attention for a good deed, and that's exactly what's happening to Vern's Place.

Vern's Place, located in Laporte, Colorado, has decided to extend a helping hand to those affected by the fires. In a Facebook post shared on September 7th, Vern's says that evacuees and firefighters can get free french toast, biscuits and gravy, or a hamburger deluxe (or cheeseburger deluxe) along with a cup of coffee or soft drink.

The comments are flooding in, and Vern's Place is receiving a lot of great support from the community for their efforts. The post itself, at the time of this article's publication, had been shared 1,400 times.

If you've been affected by the Cameron Peak Fire, head to Vern's and get some delicious food, on them. To learn more about the spread of the blaze, click here.
